UK implementing plan to clear liberated areas of mines, ambassador says

The UK has an operational plan for demining the liberated areas of Azerbaijan, which is being implemented, the British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp said at a conference on the role of women in post-conflict reconstruction.
"If we want to revive the economy in those liberated areas, gender issues must be addressed. It is an important issue," the diplomat stressed.
