TurkPA observers for referendum in Azerbaijan arrived in Baku

Baku. 24 September. REPORT.AZ/ International mission, consisting of parliamentarians, members of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA) arrived in Azerbaijan for short-term monitoring of the national referendum in order to make amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Report informs, citing the press service of the TurkPA observation mission headed by Majilis deputy of Kazakhstan Parliament Nurlan Dulatbekov.

According to the schedule of work, the observation mission will hold meetings with government officials, representatives of political and public organizations, get acquainted with the progress of preparations for the popular vote, and in the day of the referendum will observe voting at polling stations in Baku.

A referendum in Azerbaijan will be held on September 26.
