Azerbaijan and Turkey will sign an agreement on preferential trade during the strategic cooperation summit, which will be held in Baku, Report says, citing the Hurriyet Daily News.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan will act as co-chairs at the meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

Reports earlier noted that the Turkish leader would visit Azerbaijan on February 25.

As part of the visit, the sides will sign a total of nine agreements in trade, defense, sports, and other areas.

According to the information, the preferential trade agreement provides for mutual customs benefits and discounts on 15 different types of products.
