Turkish FM: Nagorno Karabakh conflict threatens future of the Caucasus

Baku. 10 August. REPORT.AZ/ 'During Baku meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov we have discussed a number of issues. Establishment of Azerbaijani-Turkish-Iranian mechanism was stated. Formation of Azerbaijani-Turkish-Russian mechanism was discussed'.

Report informs, Turkish FM Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said in his interview to Anadolu Agency.

According to him, trilateral meeting will be held.

'Nagorno Karabakh conflict threatens future of the Caucasus. We have acted to solve this conflict. Russia also has initiatives in this direction. Both the OSCE Minsk Group and Russian President Vladimir Putin show initiatives in this regard. Our proposals to Armenia correspond to Russian proposals. We also will act for solution of the conflict for stability and future of the region. We will have an opportunity to discuss the issue within the trilateral mechanism'.
