Turkish and Pakistani ambassadors to Azerbaijan hold meeting

The ambassadors of Pakistan and Turkey to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee and Cahit Bağcı met, the Pakistani diplomat wrote on Twitter.

According to Report, the meeting was held at the Pakistani embassy.

"We reviewed excellent Pakistan-Turkey bilateral ties and prospects of trilateral cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan," Hayee said.

Earlier, Azerbaijan initiated the establishment of an Azerbaijan-Pakistan-Turkey trilateral interparliamentary cooperation platform. Asad Qaiser, the speaker of the Pakistan National Assembly, welcomed the initiative during a telephone conversation with Sahiba Gafarova, the speaker of the Milli Majlis, and said it was the beginning of a new phase in terms of close and sincere parliamentary ties between the two countries.
