Baku. 2 March. REPORT.AZ/ Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries Ramil Hasanov talked about the plans of his organization in 2015. Report informs in particular, he said that on March 21 Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States will be the initiator of the Turkic Universiade to be held in Turkey.

This event will bring together 2,500 athletes from around the world. Universiade - not a political event, which allowed us to invite as athletes from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other non-member countries of our organization, said R. Hasanov.

In the second half of April in Istanbul project associated with the centenary of the victory of Canakkale was implemented. This project will be submitted to the member countries of the Council of 24 April, when large-scale events will be held in Canakkale, said Hasanov.

According to him, the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States - structure officially coordinating the activities of governments of the four states in 12 directions, one of which is the scope of the diaspora.

R. Hasanov said that the work of a single point of Turkic Diaspora actively continues: As you know a center in Ukraine already opened, and now efforts are being made to mainstream the use of another three centers: in Washington, Paris and Berlin, which are also will open within the next year.

However, the Council extended contacts with the EU and Russia in the direction of regional cooperation.
