Traditional Japanese sword fighting event held in Baku

A traditional Japanese sword fighting show performed by the group TATE HATORYU took place today in Baku.
According to Report, the event was organized by the Japanese Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Tate is a staged art form of traditional Japanese sword fighting with unique characteristics, combining elements of ancient samurai martial arts, dance and kabuki.
New York-based group TATE HATORYU prepared special sword fighting scenes for the Baku audience and demonstrated smooth sword movements to samurai-style music.
