Tourists in Azerbaijan will obtain visa from 'ASAN' service

Baku. 16 November. REPORT.AZ/ Tourists in Azerbaijan will obtain visa from 'ASAN' service in the electronic form, not from travel companies.

Report informs, at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Labour and Social Policy Committee, an amendment was proposed to the 4th item of Article 7-1 (tourist visa and electronic visas issued to tourists) of the law "On tourism".

According to the amendment, word of "travel companies" in the article is replaced with the word of "'ASAN' visa system".

An appeal on issue of the electronic visa is considered not later than 3 working days, visa is made official and sent to the e-mail address of the person applying, if no reason for refusal. In case of refusal, relevant information is sent to the e-mail address of the person.

The draft was recommended to the plenary session of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).
