Today marks second anniversary of Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of NAM

Today marks the second anniversary of Azerbaijan’s chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement, Report informs, citing a tweet on the organization’s official Twitter page.

“Today marks the 2nd anniversary of Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement. Exactly 2 years ago Azerbaijan took over the chairmanship of NAM from Venezuela at the 18th Summit of the movement in Baku on October 25-26, 2019,” the tweet reads.

Azerbaijan's chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement was extended for another year. Thus, the country will chair the organization until 2023.
