Georgian Defense Minister receives Ambassador of Azerbaijan

Defense Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili held a farewell meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to this country Dursun Hasanov.

Georgian bureau of Report informs, this was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. The minister thanked the Azerbaijani diplomat for his services in strengthening and developing friendly relations between the two countries.

The importance of strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan was emphasized at the meeting. It was noted that this partnership serves to strengthen stability and security in the region. The sides touched upon bilateral and trilateral formats of cooperation in the field of defense, stressed the importance of ties in the field of military education and exercises.
