"Georgia is ready to organize a meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentarians in Tbilisi to promote dialogue for peace," Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, said in his speech at OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) session held in Birmingham, Great Britain.
Speaking about the importance of stability and peace in the South Caucasus, the committee's chairman expressed Georgia's readiness to play a stabilizing role in ensuring peace in the region.
"We are ready to receive our Azerbaijani and Armenian colleagues in Tbilisi to promote dialogue for peace," he said.
Samkharadze is the head of the delegation of Georgia to the OSCE PA. He was elected chair of the Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs Committee of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
