“We are trying to protect the innocence of the Kanak people. However, the French policy does not allow to protect the culture and moral values of the Kanak people,” Ludovic Boula, a member of the New Caledonia Senate, said at the conference themed “History, Contemporary Challenges, and the Expected Future," Report informs.
“I want to thank Azerbaijan for giving us the opportunity to express ourselves. Azerbaijan is like a big brother to us. The support given to the Kanak people is very valuable, and we will never forget this support,” he stressed.
