Senate approved nomination of US Ambassadors to Azerbaijan and Armenia

Baku. 17 December. REPORT.AZ/ Senate approved the nomination of US Ambassadors to Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Report informs citing the official website of the US Senate, at the hearing on December 16 Robert Secuta was appointed US ambassador to Azerbaijan, Richard Mills - US Ambassador to Armenia.

In early July, the White House announced its intention to appoint Robert F. Secuta to the post of US ambassador to Azerbaijan.

He will replace Richard Morningstar, who completed his authority this summer and left Azerbaijan.
