Thorbjørn Jagland expresses condolences to President Ilham Aliyev

Baku. 9 December. REPORT.AZ/ Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland expressed his condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. 

Report informs, text of the letter reads:

"I am deeply saddened of the news on terrible accident in "Guneshli" oil field platform, December 4.

On behalf of the Council of Europe, I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the dead persons. I wish speedy recovery the injured, the missing persons to be found unharmed, also wish a courage and persistence the emergency service officers, who are engaged in the search of the missing people."
