Ramiz Mehdiyev takes part in international security conference

The delegation headed by the head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration academician Ramiz Mehdiyev attended the 10th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues in Ufa, Russia.

Report informs that at a meeting with representatives from 119 countries, the issue of ensuring national security and sustainable economic and social development at times of increased hybrid risks was discussed.

R.Mehdiyev delivered a report at the meeting and informed about the measures taken in the country to predict and prevent hybrid hazards.

The agenda of the meeting includes issues on cooperation in the area of emergency humanitarian response, cooperation in the field of international information security and the fight against the spread of terrorist ideology.

Within the framework of the event, Mehdiyev held bilateral meetings with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, Belarusian Security Secretary Stanislav Zas, Secretary of Moldova's Supreme Security Council Artur Gumenyuk and Kyrgyz Security Council Secretary Damir Sagynbaev.

Issues of cooperation on security councils were discussed during the meetings.
