Qatar appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued Amiri Decision No 34 of 2019 appointing Faisal Abdullah Hamad Abdullah al-Henzab as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Report informs citing the Gulf Times. Along with this, the emir also appointed new ambassadors to Costa Rica, Turkmenistan and Argentina. Decisions come into force from the moment of publication in the official bulletin of the country.
Notably, Yousef bin Hassan Al-Saai headed the Qatar Embassy in Azerbaijan from October 2016 to June 2018.
