Baku. 28 October. REPORT.AZ/ Public prosecutor of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko met with newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Azer Khudiyev.
Report informs, Public prosecutor of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko, Deputy public prosecutor Evgeniy Enin, other officials of public prosecutor office, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic to Ukraine Azer Khudiyev, representative of Azerbaijan Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ukraine colonel Shahin Gojayev, Chairman of United Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress Rovshan Tagiyev, Chairman of supreme assembly of the congress Akif Gulmammadov participated at the meeting. Public prosecutor Yuri Lutsenko congratulated Azer Khudiyev on his appointment as Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine and talked about fruitful cooperation between public prosecutor offices and law enforcement agencies of two countries. He noted importance of development of this cooperation.
Azer Khudiyev conveyed greetings of Public prosecutor of Azerbaijan Zakir Garalov and Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov and talked about fundamental reforms in law enforcement structures in Azerbaijan. The diplomat stressed importance of expanding cooperation between public prosecutor offices, joint efforts to struggle against international crime and terrorism as well as organizing mutual visits aimed at raising efficiency of investigations. The ambassador noted that there are powers interested in worsening relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and proposed to establish bilateral investigation team to solve cases of Azerbaijanis disappeared without trace and other crimes against our compatriots in Ukraine.
Yuri Lutsenko talking about invitation from Public prosecutor of Azerbaijan Zakir Garalov, noted that he will not visit Azerbaijan until crimes against Azerbaijanis in Ukraine are solved. He expressed his belief for soonest detection and arrest of the criminal group, after which he will travel to our country.
