Presidents of several countries discuss international ties and security in Baku

Baku. 16 March. REPORT.AZ/ On the sidelines of the 5th Global Baku Forum, presidents of Latvia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Georgia have discussed challenges in contemporary international relations and threats to global and regional security, Report informs.

About 300 representatives from 53 countries are attending the forum "The Future of international relations: Power and interests", with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora and organization of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.

Within the framework of the forum, Latvian President Raimonds Vējonis, Montenegrin President Filip Vujanović, Albanian President Bujar Nishani, Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, as well as Prince of Saudi Arabia, former head of the Intelligence Service of the country, Chairman of the King Faisal Centerfor Research andIslamic Studies, Turki al-Faisal made speeches.

The current world threats, in particular, situation in the Near East, in Europe, threat of terrorism and issues of regional and global security were discussed.

The forum will continue its work within 7 panels.
