President of Palestine congratulates leader of Azerbaijan

The President of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Mahmoud Abbas, has addressed a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

Report informs via AZERTAC that the letter reads:

“Dear Mr. President,

I extend my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency and, through you, to your government and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of your country's national holiday - Independence Day. I wish you good health, happiness, and success, and your people affluence and progress.

Taking this opportunity, I praise the bonds of solidarity that unite our countries and peoples, and express our pride in it.

I highly appreciate your position supporting the rights of freedom and independence of our people.
