Azerbaijani President to deliver speech at the UN General Assembly tomorrow

Baku. 19 September. REPORT.AZ The general political discussions will be started today at UN headquarters for the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.

Report informs referring to the UN press-service, more than 120 heads of states and governments, ministers of foreign affairs and heads of various delegations will deliver speech at the General Assembly.

Before the general debates, UN Secretary General will present his annual report on activity of the organization.

In accordance with a long-standing tradition, the first speeches from the General Assembly tribune will be delivered by Presidents of the United States of America and Brazil.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will address the General Assembly in the first half of September 20.

The speech of the President of Turkey is set for the first half of September 19. The same day Emir of Qatar, Prime minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu will speak at the Assembly. Among the speakers of the session in the second half of September 19 will be Presidents of Uzbekistan, Armenia and Estonia. 

The general political discussions will come to an end on September 25.
