Presidents of Ukraine, Turkmenistan congratulate Ilham Aliyev

Baku. 21 December. REPORT.AZ/ Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine, has sent a letter of congratulation to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on occasion of his birthday.

"His Excellency Mr Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

"Dear Ilham Heydar oglu,

"Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of your birthday.

"It is your far-sighted policy and significant works that helped Azerbaijan transform, by protecting its national interests on a global scale, into a powerful regional leader and an important player on the international scene.

"I would like to note that Azerbaijan remains a reliable strategic partner for Ukraine. I am confident that Ukraine-Azerbaijan cooperation will continue being characterized by rapid growth as well as the deepening of mutual relations between our states and nations.

"I believe that the combination of the two countries` efforts within multilateral initiatives and projects will contribute to the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

"Distinguished Mr President, I wish you the best of health and success in your state activities, and the friendly people of Azerbaijan peace and prosperity."

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, also sent a letter of congratulation to President of Azerbaijan

"Accept my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your birthday.

"Brotherly Azerbaijan is today confidently moving forward on the path of progress and development in all areas of life under your wise leadership. The country`s convincing successes in internal and foreign policy are closely associated with you.

"It is with great pleasure that I would like to note that relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan are now taking on a new dimension. Your recent official visit to Turkmenistan became an important point in the strengthening of the ties of friendship between our brotherly peoples and the deepening of cooperation between our countries in various fields. I am strongly confident that through combined efforts, Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan bilateral relations will continue to develop to the benefit of our peoples.
