President Ilham Aliyev receives outgoing Swiss ambassador

Baku. 9 September. REPORT.AZ/ President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation Pascal Aebischer, who has completed his diplomatic mission in the country.

Report informs, President Ilham Aliyev said the Azerbaijani-Swiss relations had developed successfully during the period under review and stressed the importance of high level reciprocal visits and meetings to strengthen the existent bilateral ties. The Head of State underlined the importance of mutual cooperation in versatile fields, including in the fields of economy, business and mutual investments.

Ambassador Pascal Aebischer praised the ongoing development process in Azerbaijan that he witnessed during his tenure. He also expressed assurance that this development process would further continue, noting, that the joint projects and bilateral relations between the two countries would promote further expansion of cooperation.
