Tbilisi. 28 October.REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev, who is on a visit to Tbilisi, has met with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili.
Georgia bureau of Report News Agency informs, President G.Margvelashvili said that relations between the two countries are at high level: "Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic partners. I believe that such visits will serve to further development of relations in all areas and strengthening of our strategic partnership."
Giorgi Margvelashvili said that his country attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Shahin Mustafayev conveyed greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and PM Artur Rasi-zade to Georgian President.
He congratulated the head of the state on the occasion of parliamentary elections in Georgia and expressed confidence that the elections will serve to the improvement of the people's welfare and further development of democracy in the country.
The sides exchanged views on the fields of policy, economy, defense and other areas between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Azer Huseyn and other officials attended the meeting.
