President: Azerbaijan will spare no effort to further strengthen NAM's role

"Azerbaijan, as a chair of NAM, will spare no effort to further strengthen the NAM’s role in addressing global challenges in the international relations and defend justice, international law and the legitimate interest of the NAM member-states, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said.

Report informs that the Azerbaijani leader spoke in a video format at the high-level jubilee event dated to the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement.

The head of state noted that since 2011, when Azerbaijan became the full member of the Non-Aligned Movement, the country has gained the high trust of the member countries and in 2016, Azerbaijan was unanimously elected the chair of the organization for 2019-2022.
