President Aliyev: Relations with France important for Azerbaijan

"Relations with France for us always were important, since it is one of the leading countries of the world," President Ilham Aliyev said as he as he made a speech at the international conference under the motto “South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation” held at ADA University

The head of state stressed the diversified cultural cooperation between the two countries.

"Talking about the overall political relations, I would say that they are normal, they are back to normal. We understand that there is the Armenian community, they influence not only the decision-making process, they influence the brains of people... And relations with France for us always were important, since it is one of the leading countries of the world. And it also was important in order to present our case," the head of state said.
