As part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebrations dedicated to 75 years of India’s independence, the Embassy of India in Azerbaijan has held a presentation of the states of India jointly with the Yanardag State Historical, Cultural, and Natural Reserve.

Report informs that this cultural program is a landmark event marking the close cultural ties between India and Azerbaijan.

Eight Indian states have been represented in the event.

In his speech, the Ambassador of India to Azerbaijan Bawitlung Vanlalvawna said that the event was dedicated to the path of development of each Indian state which achieved particular success in a specific area.

The ambassador expressed hope that the presentation would further strengthen the relations between the two countries' peoples and take them to a new level.

The evening continued with Indian folk dances.
