Pakistani PM sends letter to Azerbaijani counterpart 

The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, has sent a letter to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

In the congratulatory letter, the Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed his satisfaction that the brotherly relations between the two countries have turned into a strong and multifaceted partnership with increased cooperation in political, economic and security fields during the past period.

It was emphasized that Pakistan firmly supported Azerbaijan's position on the former Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

The letter also said that Pakistan is determined to deepen and expand cooperation with Azerbaijan for the interests of both nations.
