Pakistan National Assembly speaker arrives in Azerbaijan

A delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Raja Pervaiz Ashraf arrived in Azerbaijan today to attend the 3rd General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO PA).

A guard of honor was lined up for the Pakistani official at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were waved.

The speaker of the Pakistani National Assembly was welcomed by the chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament's Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Tahir Mirkishili, a member of Azerbaijan-Pakistan working group on interparliamentary relations, Mahir Abbaszada, and other officials.
