PACE autumn session kicks off in Strasbourg today

The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) kicks off in Strasbourg today. Report informs that this year it is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe and will be held in the presence of the former Presidents of the Assembly.

On October 1, French President Emmanuel Macron will deliver a speech and answer questions from PACE deputies.

Deputies of the Milli Majlis will speak during the session and share their views on the issues discussed.

The session participants will discuss issues of the Crimean Tatars, climate refugees and labor migration in Eastern Europe.

The agenda also includes a discussion of the report on the functioning of democratic institutions in Moldova, a post-monitoring dialogue with Northern Macedonia.

The session will end on October 4.
