More than 2,000 Azerbaijani citizens return from Turkey

"The Azerbaijani embassy in Turkey has not yet received information about coronavirus cases among our citizens in this country. However, I am sorry to say that some of our compatriots tested positive for the virus upon return from Turkey," Azerbaijan's ambassador to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim told Report.
He said Azerbaijan's consulates general in Istanbul, and Kars and respective state bodies had coordinated the return of some of the citizens (over 2,100 people) since the moment of border closure (March 15).
"They have been placed in a 14-day quarantine.
"Some of them tested positive for coronavirus, and their treatment continues under particular control."
