Number of Turkish citizens residing in Azerbaijan unveiled

Baku. 7 February. REPORT.AZ/ 55,000 Turkish citizens live in Azerbaijan, Turkish Yeniçağ Newspaper reports with reference to the Foreign Ministry.

According to the official information, 5 million Turkish citizens live in 152 countries. Germany comes first with 2 million people and is followed by the United States (300 thousand). There are no Turkish citizens in Bhutan, Tonga or Tuvalu, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The Ministry did not disclose statistics on Turkish citizens living in a number of countries. Armenia, Paraguay, Nigeria, Syria, North Korea, Honduras, South Cyprus, Barbados, Andorra, Taiwan, Togo and Uruguay are among them.
