New Japanese Ambassador appointed to Azerbaijan

Baku. 3 February. REPORT.AZ/ Japan has announced its new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing the Japanese media, the government implemented a number of appointments to post of ambassadors.

Thus, 60-year-old Teruyuki Katore has been appointed as a new Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan. Earlier, the diplomat served as Director General of Japanese Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry.

T.Katore will replace Tsugui Takahashi, who has been serving as Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan since 2013.
