Named Sergei Lavrov’s visit program to Azerbaijan

Baku. 17 November. REPORT.AZ/ MFA of Azerbaijan issued statement on the upcoming visit of foreign minister of Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov to Azerbaijan.

Report was informed in the ministry's press service, minister of foreign affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov will pay an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 19-20.

As part of his visit minister Sergei Lavrov is expected to meet with minister of foreign affairs Elmar Mammadyarov and other high ranking officials. Following the meeting joint press-conference will be held with participation of two ministers.

Bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are of strategic importance. This year marks the 25th anniversary of establishment diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
