"Relations between Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan are based on friendship and brotherhood," Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Sentop said during his speech at the first trilateral meeting in the Azerbaijani Parliament.
According to him, this meeting will contribute to further strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey:
"The two countries have successful cooperation in all areas. This meeting demonstrates the unity that exists between the three countries. Both Turkey and Pakistan have supported Azerbaijan since the early days of the war. The signing of the "Shusha Declaration" indicates the unity of the three countries."
Sentop stressed that Azerbaijan called for the signing of a comprehensive peace agreement: "We will accelerate our work for peace in the region. The Baku Declaration will be signed here. This document will contribute to ensuring the security and stability of our region. This statement plays a vital role in terms of institutionalizing trilateral relations."
