The opening of the Zangazur corridor will be one of the most important issues on Türkiye's agenda, Samil Ayrim, an MP from the ruling Justice and Development Party of Türkiye (AK Parti) from Istanbul, told Report.
Assessing the presidential and parliamentary elections held on May 14, the MP said that for the first time in the history of the Republic of Türkiye, such large Alliances conducted an election campaign: "President Recep Tayyip Erdogan traveled all over Türkiye during his election campaign. Candidates for MPs also demonstrated an active election campaign. As a result, the national will of our people won. In the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), again, MPs from AK Parti gained a big advantage. We have demonstrated to Europe and the whole world how democratic elections are held."
Saying that many new projects are being launched in TBMM, the MP noted that among these projects, great importance is attached to issues related to Azerbaijan: “Türkiye has some problems that need to be solved. The issue of opening the Zangazur corridor will be one of the most important on our agenda."
