Mohammed: UN supporting Azerbaijan in demining Karabakh

The UN supports Azerbaijan in demining Karabakh as part of the post-conflict rehabilitation process, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed said at the final press conference of WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
"Regarding Karabakh, this is the government's program for reintegration and sustainable peace. The UN, in turn, supports the country in demining. This is important work that will take a long time. But it is also part of the process of building confidence and creating a safer environment for people as infrastructure is rebuilt," she noted.
