"We are confident that we will agree on demarcation of the border with a strategic partner and friendly state," Georgian Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia said.
According to him, the interests of the cultural heritage and the church will also be taken into consideration in determining the border: "Keshikchidagh monastery complex is a very sensitive issue. We have to complete demarcation of borders in a short time."
Gakharia urged people, who speculate around monastery complex and try to encourage ethnic hostility, to be extremely careful.
