Milli Majlis resumes cooperation with European Parliament - EXCLUSIVE

Baku. 29 September. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani Parliament resumes cooperation with the European Parliament.

Report informs, the first meeting of the autumn session of Azerbaijani Parliament will consider tomorrow the draft “On cooperation between Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and the European Parliament”.

The draft will be discussed at the meeting of the Parliament on September 30.

Deputy Chairman of Legal Policy and State Building Committee of Milli Majlis Rovshan Rzayev told Report, re-establishment of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Parliament is an important issue.

He said that it’s necessary to restore the inter-parliamentary cooperation: "Azerbaijan is working successfully with many European countries on a bilateral basis. I think that success of our work in this direction will continue."

Notably, the European Parliament has adopted a statement against Azerbaijan. Then Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has decided to cease cooperation with the European Parliament.
