Military expert: "Georgia can produce SU-25s jointly with Azerbaijan"

Georgia may jointly manufacture SU-25 attack aircraft with Azerbaijan, military expert Vakhtang Maisaya, told Rezonansi newspaper.

According to the expert, Georgia will probably cooperate with Ukraine in resuming production of military aircraft.

"Ukraine has a solid foundation for the aviation industry, which can be developed with Azerbaijan as well," he said.

Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Garibashvili recently stated that the country has all the technical, intellectual, and human resources for the production, repair, and restoration of SU-25 military aircraft. According to the minister, various countries are showing great interest in such fighter jets.
