MFA: No specific date was approved for next meeting of Armenian adn Turkish special envoys

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia did not confirm the claims that the next meeting of the special representatives for the normalization of relations between Turkiye and Armenia, Serdar Kilic and Ruben Rubenyan, will be held in September.

Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia, that Press Secretary at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Hunanyan commented on this.

He said there is currently no agreement on this and added that they inform the public about meetings of special envoys in advance and on time.

The 5th meeting between Serdar Kilic and Ruben Rubenyan, the special representatives for the normalization of relations between Turkiye and Armenia, will be held in September, Report informs, citing a source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye.

"Processes are fragile, permanent peace must be ensured," the source said.

The source in the MFA also clarified where the meeting would be held: "This is not a gathering of enemies, it cannot be held in a third country."
