Central Asia has already become an important region, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said during a meeting with Japanese journalists.
The minister also spoke about Azerbaijan's important role in this issue: "The importance of the East-West corridor has increased. Azerbaijan and Georgia are also in that region. I hope that agreements will be reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Armenia will join the process."
Cavusoglu also said that the Organization of Turkic States does not compete with any organization.
