Member of Turkish Parliament: Iran failed to ensure the security of the Azerbaijani embassy at the required level

"Iran failed to ensure the security of the Azerbaijani embassy at the required level," Turkish MP Yunus Kilic told journalists at the administrative building of the Western Azerbaijan Community, Report informs.
According to him, the South Caucasus is a sensitive region: "Azerbaijan and Turkiye are not what they used to be. Our friendship has become stronger. Therefore, we do not allow treacherous plans to succeed."
The MP also spoke about the deadly attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran: "Of course, we condemn this incident. Iran failed to ensure the security of the diplomatic mission at the required level. This should be condemned. Turkiye always stands by Azerbaijan."
