Meeting of joint commission on demarcation of Russian-Azerbaijani border held in Baku

A regular meeting of the joint commission on the demarcation of the Russian-Azerbaijani border has been held in Baku today.

Report informs that the meeting has taken place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. During the meeting, the parties adopted a work plan for the installation of border signs on the high-mountainous stretch of the state border line between Azerbaijan and Russia.

In accordance with the signed protocol of the meeting, from July to October 2019, the working group of the joint commission will identify the places and secure the border signs at the high mountain site, as well as carry out the corresponding demarcation work on the forest section, bridges and checkpoints.

The next meeting will be held in Russia.

Notably, the previous meeting was held in the spring.
