CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov leaves for Austria

Baku. 2 November. REPORT.AZ/ On November 2, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan, has paid an official visit to Austria to attend the event held regarding the elections in Vienna.

Report informs citing the Media and Public Relations Department of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission.

The event, organized by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and attended by heads of electoral management bodies, international organizations, is dedicated to the discussion of various issues related to the elections and best practices of countries.

As a part of the visit at the invitation of OSCE/ODIHR Director Michael Link, M.Panahov will meet with heads of supreme electoral bodies of various countries and international organizations, as well as with other officials and discuss prospects of interorganizational mutually beneficial cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.

CEC Chairman is accompanied by Head of the Commission Secretariat Rovzat Gasimov.
