Azerbaijan is a vital energy partner for the EU, European Commission Vice President Maroš Šefčovič said.
"With President Aliyev, we discussed our shared objective to deepen this partnership, including via the EU Energy Platform on joint gas purchasing and in the field of renewables, like green hydrogen. Thank you for a valuable exchange," Šefčovič tweeted.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with European Commission Vice President Maroš Šefčovič on May 13 in Brussels, during his working visit to Belgium.
