Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov had a meeting.
According to Report's Georgian bureau, the sides stressed the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The two officials also paid attention to the delimitation of the state border between Georgia and Azerbaijan. They stressed the importance of continuing the strategic partnership between the two countries and consideration of the interests of the two friendly states.
The sides also underlined the significance of increasing the effectiveness and competitiveness of the transport corridor and joint use of the transit potential of the two countries. In this context, they welcomed the opening of the TANAP project section.
Giorgi Gakharia thanked Azerbaijan for its support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
