Mammadyarov: Cooperation with EU not affects Baku-Moscow ties

Baku. 14 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of relations of strategic partnership with its neighbors, especially with Russia. 

Report informs, Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"On the whole, we are pleased with the significant results achieved in development of cooperation with Russia in the political, economic, trade, humanitarian and other spheres.

Cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union also developing on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation and mutual respect. Great attention is paid to the development of relations with the EU. Although, relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, as well as Azerbaijan and EU are developing in different planes, they serve primarily for the benefit of our peoples”, Mammadyarov said.
