Macron: France wishes to strengthen Azerbaijan-EU ties

France wants to strengthen relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union within the framework of the Eastern Partnership and the priorities set at the December 15 summit, French President Emmanuel Macron said in a letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

"I hope that our bilateral relations will continue to strengthen in the spirit of friendship and trust. I am confident that France will actively contribute to this. Mr. President, I ask you to accept my highest respect," the letter reads.
