"I see an openly one-sided approach to Azerbaijan in PACE," a member of the Russian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), MP Leonid Slutsky said during the discussion of a draft resolution on monitoring procedures at the winter session of the organization.
"I see an apparent one-sided approach in the part of this text on Azerbaijan. The third paragraph of the draft resolution on the Karabakh issue does not reflect reality. Decisions made in PACE should not divide countries into two poles. Russian President Vladimir Putin took an active part in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. I congratulate the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, since he was able to make countries to fulfil their international obligations. All member states here must fulfil their and other international commitments to the Council of Europe," MP stressed.
