Law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan and Ukraine plan to hold inter-ministerial consultations

Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky met with Minister of Internal Affairs Vilayat Eyvazov on August 1. 

Report informs referring to the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy that during the meeting the parties discussed the state of affairs and practical aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of security and the fight against transnational organized crime. In this regard, satisfaction was expressed with the existing level of cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, in particular, at the level of the respective structural units.

Furthermore, they discussed the issue of conducting interdepartmental consultations between law enforcement agencies of the two countries in the near future with the aim of continuing constructive dialogue at the level of two departments.

According to the embassy, V. Eyvazov stressed that in the future the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan will сontinue to provide assistance in preventing provocations in Azerbaijan regarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
